A professed chocoholic and ‘techie-lamer’ Beth Wilson entered the world of military spousedom madly in love with her Sailor.
Nine moves and multiples deployments later Beth looks back and says, “If I knew then what I know now I would still marry Scott but I’d be enjoying the journey so much more. Knowledge truly is power. With reliable information, resources and a little determination this life can be awesome!”
Beth served as a Navy Family Command Ombudsman where she developed a passion to research information, resources and best practices to enhance not only her own resiliency and quality of life but to share it with her fellow military spouses.
That research led to launching a military spouse column in her local base paper, Homefront in Focus. That column was picked up by military and civlian papers across the country.
Beth expanded her efforts launching Navy Homefront Talk! – an internet broadcast for Navy wives. This show drew listenership from all branches prompting a name change to reflect its listernship; Enlisted Spouse Radio.
Beth continued advocating, connecting and supporting enlisted spouses through her blogs and launched Enlisted Spouse Community, an online community for today’s enlited spouse.
A gifted communicator, Beth travels across the force to connect with and encourage her fellow spouses. She is a much sought after speaker.
Beth resides where the Navy sends her with her active duty Sailor and two cocker spaniels; Strydor and Missy.
